"One more time, I will roll today too," she said. The girl curled herself into a ball and tumbled down the hill, knees scraping against the scattered stones. A gash on her cheek was formed when she crashed headfirst on the brittle and hard surface of the pavement. Her body shook lightly, salty liquid streaming down the sides of her face. A few tears dropped on the back of her hands as she placed them on the ground. She bit her bottom lip, trying to fight back the sob threatening to burst from her throat.
